Year 1 – Ukwazisa

In our first year, we laid the foundation for long-term impact by focusing on empowering schools, clubs, and coaches.


Accomplishments:

  • Over 50 schools and clubs upskilled and empowered.
  • More than 160 coaches received football coaching.
  • Covered 5 key areas: Daveyton, Katlehong, Thembisa, Diepsloot, and Alexandra.
  • Positively impacted 80,000+ kids, enhancing their football and personal development.
  • Distributed 4,000 balls, 3,000 bibs, 150 ball bags, and 5,000 cones to improve training resources.

Year 2 – Amandla

Building on the foundation laid in Year 1, Amandla focused on further upskilling and official accreditation.


Accomplishments:

  • 160 coaches received official accreditation in SAFA D+C Licensing, empowering them with professional qualifications.
  • Continued to enhance football knowledge through year-round upskilling.
  • Introduced Kids Haven mental health awareness lectures to ensure holistic development.
  • Launched First Care Solutions' Mini Medics Programme, equipping young participants with essential first aid knowledge.

Year 3 – Gugulethu

Year 3 marks a special focus on girls’ football development across two provinces.


Focus:

  • All-girls football program designed to bridge gender disparities.
  • To be implemented in both the Eastern Cape and Western Cape regions.
  • Aimed to create a legacy where opportunity is afforded equally across all divides, ensuring that young girls are given the same opportunities to succeed in life.

This phased approach reflects our commitment to creating lasting change, upskilling local talent and fostering a culture of equality and opportunity in football.
